The Art of psychosis psychosis psychosis in art
I am very pleased to be able to introduce a form of art that I have met in my work and I was shocked by the brilliance. Abstract: The site that I refer is of a patient (no more patient) that was treated a few years to a paranoid psychosis brilliantly overcome through art! His entire site is very nice full of various forms of art, but I want you to read a paper a while because we are concerned about its relationship with the therapist!

Mirror Neurons and Neuroscience
Dopo la giornata col Dottor Ruberti, che ha avuto tanto successo, diversi compagni si sono messi a cercare su internet materiale inerente gli argomenti trattati durante la lezione e mi hanno mandato i link (ringrazio in particolare Marco e Marta per aver cercato e trovato tante chicche). Ho fatto una piccola cernita e ho postato solo i video più significativi, sappiate però che youtube e la rete pullulano di materiali e articoli interessanti che aspettano solo di essere scoperti e condivisi! In questa prima serie di video (alcuni sono in inglese) è trattato in modo particolare il tema dei neuroni a specchio:
- Antonio Rizzo a proposito della capacità dei bambini di 8/9 mesi di discriminare oggetti da persone, nonché on their ability to simulate actions taken or potential (also performed by third parties). Introduction of "mirror neurons".
Mirror neurons. What are they, how they were discovered, what they explain.
- That It Is Believed by many mirror neurons enable humans to emulate others and thereby empathise with One Another. If true, Functioning mirror neurons are essential for the Socialization of Children and Their Lack of function Would result in the typical social isolation of individuals on the autistic spectrum. This short clip
Explains the action of these neurons and the testing of their funtionality. The case of a boy with Asperger's Syndrome is explored.
- Using the resources of the Brain Research Center at UCLA, this film illustrates the development of neuroscience, from its reliance on information from brain injuries and from autopsies, through to new insights discovered with electronic micro-scopes, EEG equipment, PET scans and MRI machines. Examples of actual research that utilize current technology are presented, including a study on the role of mirror neurons in autism and the mapping of language areas of a patient prior to surgery on a brain tumor.

Stanford Prison Experiment
Il post della domenica è dedicato alla psicologia sociale.
Chi non ha mai sentito parlare, nei lunghi anni di Università, dell'esperimento condotto da Philip Zimbardo e i suoi colleghi di Palo Alto sull'importanza dei ruoli nel determinare il comportamento delle persone?
In questa ricerca ad alcuni studenti volontari furono attribuiti i ruoli di guardie e ladri, e nello svolgersi della ricerca tutte le procedure messe in atto da parte dei finti poliziotti nei confronti dei finti criminali furono uniformate a quelle realmente utilizzate dalle forze dell'ordine nel rapportarsi con i prigionieri.
Il risultato fu che molti degli studenti incaricati di interpretare il ruolo di prigionieri ebbero dei gravi scompensi e delle forti ripercussioni a livello psicologico, poichè vennero ripetutamente umiliati e maltrattati da ragazzi che fino a poche settimane prima erano compagni di corso, e che ora, vestiti da guardie, li trattavano con molta crudeltà.
Viceversa anche i poliziotti non riuscirono a capire come avessero potuto comportarsi in quel modo e rimasero traumatizzati nel confrontare il proprio comportamento di quei giorni con il tipo di persone che ritenevano di essere.
Naturalmente questa ricerca ebbe una forte eco e stimolò alla creazione di alcuni fondamentali pricipi etici che ora guidano la ricerca in psicologia sociale.
Si può inoltre dire che i temi toccati da questo esperimento risultano molto attuali se visti in rapporto alle notizie sulle carceri di Abu Ghraib.
In QUESTO SITO vengono ricostruiti i punti salienti dell'esperimento, con tanto di filmati d'epoca sulle procedure messe in atto dai "poliziotti" nei confronti dei "criminali".

There are twenty episodes of twenty minutes on issues such as social conditioning, cognitive psychology, learning ...

After an intensive course in Campertogno have happened, at the suggestion of a friend, a very interesting site on the Lucid Dream ... Did you know that you can control
your dreams and that there are techniques that allow anyone to do it? Here you will find all the steps to be done to create your own custom "dream books." This is the classic site that I visited only a few pages out of laziness, if someone approfondisse the visit would be nice to hear another point of view.

I have found that many universities (foreign of course) have a very important section of e-learning and often this section is free and open to all.
One of the resources more attractive for us psychologists sono i podcast. In cosa consistono? Sono delle radio virtuali, in cui si possono trovare file mp3 scaricabili oppure ascoltabili online riguardanti qualsiasi argomento (se guardate la sezione podcast di itunes potete ascoltare di tutto, da Edgar Allan Poe a Radio Dj).
Io ne ho trovati un po' riguardanti la psicologia e metto un po' di link, comunque basta cercare su google se ne volete altri!
Questo è dell'Università di Berkeley e tratta di Psicologia dello sviluppo
